Arsenal surpass jinxed period

Evident enough, I have been an fan of Arsenal FC for years that I even haven't kept track of. Their performance has always been up to the mark but the results weren't really, especially in the last six years. Here's something more that I want to share and many of my fellow Gunners must have also noticed.

In the last six years, Arsenal have always shown promise from the start of the season. However, the consistency has been lacking which always brought them down towards the end of the season. But when do they really falter?

In the last six years, stats show that the Gunners have always dropped points during Christmas - a short 15 day period in which most of the clubs play five to six games. I have always seen Arsenal play a spectacular brand of football - Arsene Wenger's passing game policy. Yet, the Gunners succumb to some silly errors in the defense and some awful finishing by the strikers. Midfield, though, has always been their strength. And all this has usually happened during the above mentioned period.

This season has been a little different. After many years, Arsenal have maintained their form and position till the turn of the year. Being a little superstitious, I am happy the Gunners have surpassed the so called 'jinxed period' and believe a title is definitely coming our way.

Way to go Gunners.
