The championship organized by Goa University is underway at indoor stadium, Campal. In the earlier rounds P.C.C.E. Verna defeated Damodar, Margao 2-0 . G.E.C. Farmagudi defeated Kare Law, Margao 2-0. St. Xaviers, Mapusa defeated Zantye, Bicholim 2-0. PGGU defeated Ayurveda, Shiroda 2-0 . In the pre quarters P.C.C.E. Verna defeated G.M.C., Bambolim 2-0. Kare Law, Margao defeated St. Xavier, Mapusa 2-0. G.V.M. Ponda defeated Rosary, Navelim 2-1 & PGGU defeated Pharmacy, Panjim 2-0. In the quarter-finals PCCE, Verna defeated GEC, Farmagudi 2-0 and PGGU defeated G.V.M, Ponda 2-0.

Taekwondo & Baseball introduced in Inter Collegiate Championships Calender 2012-2013
The Sports Council of Goa University has approved the introduction of Taekwondo and Baseball as new disciplines in the annual Inter Collegiate Championships Calender 2012-2013. These new events will be held during the second phase of the Inter Collegiate Championships. The first Championship for this year will be Badminton for Men and Women, scheduled to commence on 25th July, 2012 at Sports Authority of Goa, Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji. Commendable performance by Goa's Anura at All India Major Ranking Badminton tourney
Goa's Anura Prabhudesai put up a commendable performance at the recently held All India Major Ranking Badminton Tournament played at Ernakulam, Kerala. Anura, partnering Riya Mukherjee, reached the semi finals of the Under 17 Girls doubles event, before bowing out to the tournament top seeds. Anura and Riya beat Mahima Agarwal and Shikha Gautam 22-20, 8-21, 21-19 in a closely fought quarters match. Anura also reached the pre-quarters in the Girls Under 19 singles event.

Force Mapusa stormed into the quarters of the Angley's Cup Table
Tennis Team Championship event, organised by Panjim Gymkhana at the
Gymkhana Hall premises. In the Group A League matches, Force Mapusa
