Post Graduate, Goa University and Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna moved into the semi finals of the Inter Collegiate Badminton championship for Women. The championship organized by Goa University is underway at indoor stadium, Campal. In the earlier rounds P.C.C.E. Verna defeated Damodar, Margao 2-0 . G.E.C. Farmagudi defeated Kare Law, Margao 2-0. St. Xaviers, Mapusa defeated Zantye, Bicholim 2-0. PGGU defeated Ayurveda, Shiroda 2-0 . In the pre quarters P.C.C.E. Verna defeated G.M.C., Bambolim 2-0. Kare Law, Margao defeated St. Xavier, Mapusa 2-0. G.V.M. Ponda defeated Rosary, Navelim 2-1 & PGGU defeated Pharmacy, Panjim 2-0. In the quarter-finals PCCE, Verna defeated GEC, Farmagudi 2-0 and PGGU defeated G.V.M, Ponda 2-0.
