The Sports Council of Goa University has approved the introduction of Taekwondo and Baseball as new disciplines in the annual Inter Collegiate Championships Calender 2012-2013. These new events will be held during the second phase of the Inter Collegiate Championships. The first Championship for this year will be Badminton for Men and Women, scheduled to commence on 25th July, 2012 at Sports Authority of Goa, Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji. The schedule for the first phase is as under:
